This August, Ark Capital turns ten.
It’s a milestone that invites reflection, not just on where we’ve come from but on how we’ve grown: deliberately, insightfully and with clarity of purpose. When we first opened our doors in 2015, our ambition was clear: to build a specialist investment manager grounded in experience, strong relationships and disciplined performance. That ambition still guides us, though the shape and scale of Ark today tells a story of evolution.
We began by acquiring the management rights to the Murray Direct Mortgage Fund, a fund with a 51-year legacy. That foundation gave us momentum but from the outset, we set out to lead with our own approach, clear-eyed, investor-focused and grounded in deep market understanding.
