Ten years ago, when Adrian had his realisation about the changing landscape of private credit in Australia, I don’t think any of us could have imagined we’d be here celebrating with such an incredible group of people.
Standing in front of everyone last night-our development partners, investors, advisors, and the amazing Ark Capital team I was reminded that businesses aren’t built by spreadsheets or strategies alone. They’re built by relationships, trust, and people who believe in a shared vision.
More Than Numbers: The Power of Partnerships
The numbers tell part of our story: over $1 billion invested across 130 deals, $450 million in funds under management, and a team that’s grown to just under 30 people across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
But what really struck me last night was the other part of the story the partnerships we’ve forged, the developments we’ve brought to life, and the careers we’ve built along the way.
Our Ark Vision
We started with a simple vision: provide great capital solutions to developers when traditional banking wasn’t meeting their needs, and create exceptional investment opportunities in return. That vision hasn’t changed. What has changed is our capacity to deliver on it, building on decades of experience in private real estate credit.
With our directors as owners, there’s complete alignment between leadership, our long-term vision, and the interests of our development partners and investors.
When we succeed, we all succeed. When we celebrate milestones like this, we celebrate together. That’s exactly how it should be.
Looking Ahead: Growth, Innovation, and Partnerships
Thank you to everyone who was there, everyone who’s been part of this journey, and everyone who will help us write the next chapter.
Here’s to the next 10 years.
