Today marks an important milestone for Ark Capital. With Cornerstone now officially launched, we’re offering investors and advisers a new way to access our private real estate credit strategy – reflecting the continued evolution of our business and our commitment to solutions that meet investors’ changing needs.
A different way to access the Ark strategy
Cornerstone invests exclusively in a diversified portfolio of first ranking. Through a professionally managed pooled fund, investors gain exposure to the senior position in the capital structure, along with the diversification benefits of a pooled portfolio. A diversified portfolio of first ranking
Every Ark fund shares the same investment philosophy, but each serves a different purpose. Cornerstone is designed for investors seeking the most defensive position within our private credit offering — disciplined capital preservation, regular income, and security-backed lending, with the added protection that comes from priority in the repayment hierarchy. No investment is without risk, but for many investors, where a fund sits in the capital structure matters just as much as the return it targets.
More choice for advisers and investors
Cornerstone’s launch is also a milestone for our adviser partners. Private credit has matured and so have the expectations that come with it — advisers and investors are looking beyond headline returns to manager quality, credit discipline, and risk management. That’s exactly how we believe private credit should be assessed.
With Cornerstone added to the suite, Ark now offers a fuller range across the debt stack — Cornerstone’s conservative profile, Bedrock’s diversified approach, Summit’s enhanced return potential, and direct opportunities through our Wholesale Mortgage Fund. All built on the same disciplined framework, giving advisers the flexibility to match different client objectives without sacrificing consistency in manager selection. We believe that choice matters as much as the outcomes themselves.
Built on the same discipline
Cornerstone is new, but the philosophy behind it isn’t. Every investment undergoes the same rigorous credit assessment and portfolio management that has defined Ark since inception — with continued conviction in Australia’s residential and industrial sectors, and in the high-growth markets of Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia.
What’s changed isn’t our fundamentals. It’s that more investors can now access them.
Looking forward
This is more than a new fund – it’s a reflection of the confidence we have in the business, people and discipline we’ve built over eleven years. As private credit continues to mature, we believe investors will increasingly gravitate toward managers with proven experience and a genuine commitment to protecting capital. That commitment has guided every decision since Ark was founded, and it will keep guiding us as we grow.
We look forward to what lies ahead.
