Anita Young

Anita is Ark’s passionate CFO, driving our financial strategy and operational efficiencies that help the team deliver superior risk-adjusted returns for investors. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, she optimises our financial performance and enhances operational processes to support the growth and success of both our business and investor outcomes. 

With more than 20 years’ experience as a senior finance professional, Anita possesses a strong focus on property development and property funds management. She commenced her finance career at Pitcher Partners accounting firm before taking Head of Finance roles at Castlerock Property Group and Newmark Capital Limited, joining Ark Capital Funds in 2023. 

Anita’s proudest achievements at Ark to date include assembling a high-performing team of finance and operational professionals and significantly enhancing operational efficiencies. Both of these have contributed greatly to Ark’s growth and investor satisfaction.  

When it comes to investing, Anita wishes people knew more about risk-adjusted opportunities. While higher returns are possible, non-bank lending property funds are also focused on carefully managing risk through thorough due diligence, ensuring that investors have access to high-quality, secure assets with strong potential for investment returns. 

Anita’s experience goes beyond finance too: she has a strong background in compliance, governance and risk management. Notably, she’s a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, underscoring her commitment to professional excellence.
